This first year with Gabriel Lucas is so fun because everything is experienced for the first time! Everything from runs to the grocery store to first teeth to first holidays. Our first Christmas and New Year with Gabriel Lucas has been so exciting! Here is our champion using one of his gifts from Mops and Granddaddy. This doggy towel is monagrammed with his name on it and is so cute!

Gabriel's Aunt Airely and Uncle Adam came down to visit or a few days this weekend. Here is a picture from Friday night at Shooters on the intercoastal. We had dinner watching the boats go by on the water. It was also Gabriel Lucas's first time using a big boy high chair. He was part of the festivities!

We all finished dinner and then I started asking about dessert. What better to do in South Florida for dessert than go to Jaxon's Ice Cream Parlor??? So, we headed on down to Hollywood for a treat!
Saturday was a full day of tourist activity! We started by hitting another South Florida "must," Laspada's Hogies! Roastbeef, everything but hot peppers...oh soooo good! Sometimes I wonder if that is the real reason Adam comes down to visit us.

After Laspada's, we got on the water taxi at Shooters and headed out for a tour of the South Florida waterways. The water taxi captains are filled with knowledge of the houses on the intercoastal and drama of who is living in them. It makes for interesting listening, but you never know what to believe!

The baby was with us...I promise! Not sure where he was in these pictures, but probably taking a nap....

Today, Gabriel Lucas and I went out and got some new wheels! It is time he sees the world from his stroller. He is decked out in black (it is the only color they had) and equipped with relector tape in case we decide to walk at night. I could use some ideas to add some color to these new wheels. Any ideas?
